Vijay Sethupathi and Aishwarya Rajessh starrer Ka Pae Ranasingam opts for an OTT release

The latest film to opt for an OTT release is Vijay Sethupathi and Aishwarya Rajessh starrer Ka Pae Ranasingam. The movie will release in 5 Indian languages.
Recently, Nani and Sudheer Babu’s V had become the first big Telugu entertainer to skip theatrical release and opt for an OTT premiere. Similarly, Suriya starrer Tamil film Soorarai Pottru was also announced for an OTT release. Now, another Tamil featuring a big star has been announced for a digital release.
Starring Vijay Sethupathi and Aishwarya Rajessh, the social drama Ka Pae Ranasingam written and directed by P Virumandi, has skipped theatrical release and will now be premiering on Zee Plex. The movie will release in as many as five Indian languages and will have subtitles in over ten international languages.
Sharing the details about the film, trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “IT’S OFFICIAL… #Tamil film #KaPaeRanasingam – starring #VijaySethupathi and #AishwaryaRajessh – to premiere on #ZeePlex… Will release in five #Indian languages, with subtitles in over ten international languages.”

The movie was initially slated to release earlier this year in January and was supposed to be a theatrical release. However, for reasons unknown, it was delayed. This is Vijay Sethupathi and Aishwarya Rajessh’s fourth collaboration after Rummy, Pannaiyarum Padminiyum, and Dharma Durai.
Besides Vijay Sethupathi and Aishwarya Rajessh, Ka Pae Ranasingam also stars Rangaraj Pandey, Yogi Babu, Vela Ramamoorthy, Samuthirakani, and Poo Ram. The music of the film is composed by Ghibran.
Unlike V and Soorarai Pottru, Ka Pae Ranasingam will release Pay-Per-View format. Which means, the viewers will have to play for an amount to watch the film.
Apart from Ka Pae Ranasingam, Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday starrer Khaali Peeli, which is produced by Ali Abbas Zafar and directed by Maqbool Khan, will also release in the same Pay-Per-View format.
