Kiara Advani to play female lead opposite Prabhas in Om Raut’s Adipurush?



Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan starrer, Adipurush which will be directed by Om Raut may see Kiara Advani as the lead, according to reports. The film will go on floors next year.

He mesmerised us with his acting skills and made us go gaga with Baahubali. Now, the talented actor, Prabhas is all set to return to entertain us with Adipurush, which will go on floors next year. Yesterday, Saif Ali Khan was confirmed in the film as the negative lead who will be playing ‘the most intelligent demon king’ Lankesh in the movie. Now, reports are rife that Good Newwz actress Kiara Advani has been approached to play the female lead in the film!

According to a report in a leading daily, Kiara has been approached for the role of the female lead.

The ETimes report states that according to sources Kiara has been approached but there is no confirmation regarding the same. Earlier, there were reports that actress Keerthy Suresh has been approached to play the leading lady opposite Prabhas.

The film is expected to be a 3D-action-period drama that will celebrate the victory of good over evil. The lead hero, Prabhas will be undergoing a massive transformation for the role as Prabhu Ram by getting an ‘archer’s physique’. Recently, director Om Raut said that no one will be able to play the role of Prabhu Ram better than Prabhas. Currently, in the pre-production stage, the film will go on floors in 2021 and hit the theatres in 2022. Adipurush will be bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under T-Series banner.

Coming to Kiara, the diva has her hand full with a line up of movies. While her next film, Indoo Ki Jawani will see an OTT release due to the coronavirus pandemic, more recent reports claim that Kiara may also be seen in another Nikkhil Advani film. Her film Laxmmi Bomb with Akshay Kumar is also all ready for a digital release. It will stream on Disney Plus Hotstar.
