Hotel Milan actress Malvi Malhotra was allegedly stabbed thrice with a knife on Thursday night. Here’s how Kangana Ranaut reacted to the news, sparking the insider vs outsider debate again.

  • Malvi Malhotra, of Hotel Milan fame, was reportedly stabbed thrice by Yogesh Manipal Singh, who identifies himself as a film producer
  • FIR has been lodged against the accused and Malvi is currently being treated at the Kokilaben hospital
  • Kangana Ranaut feels this is what happens to “small town strugglers without connections”

The news of actress Malvi Malhotra reportedly getting stabbed by Yogesh Manipal Singh, who identifies himself as a film producer, has sent shock waves across the internet. The Hotel Milan fame was allegedly stabbed multiple times in her stomach and is currently undergoing treatment at the Kokilaben hospital. Kangana Ranaut has strongly reacted to the report stating that this is exactly what happens to “small town strugglers without connections.”

Taking to Twitter, Kangana condemned the attack on Malvi by once again sparking the insider vs outsider debate. She targeted the “nepotism kids” by stating, “This is the truth of the film industry, this is what happens to small-town strugglers who don’t have connections and proper channels, nepotism kids might defend themselves as much they want but how many of them have been stabbed, raped and killed ?”

The police are currently investigating the case and have found CCTV footage of the area for further investigation. Apparently, the accused stopped her on the way when she was returning from a cafe in Mumbai. He forcibly tried to talk to her. When Malvi resisted, he apparently pulled out the knife and stabbed her.

Fortunately, Malvi was rushed to the hospital immediately so her condition is stable as of now. Malvi informed the cops that she had connected with the accused over Facebook for work and had met him only once. She reportedly also said that she has known him for the last year and that he wanted to marry her, but she had rejected the proposal.

An FIR has been lodged against Yogesh, the accused, under various Indian Penal Code sections, including 307 (attempt to murder), reports Mumbai Mirror.

Malvi has sought help from Kangana and the National Commission For Women (NCW) to get justice in the case.
