Indian Visa Application Centre now opened at Jamuna Future Park

A new integrated Indian Visa Application Centre (IVAC) has been inaugurated at Jamuna Future Park in the capital’s Bashundhara Residential Area on Saturday morning.

Visiting Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh along with his Bangladesh counterpart Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has inaugurated the centre inside the Jamuna Future Park around 11am.

This integrated Indian Visa Application Centre (IVAC) is the largest Indian visa centre in the world.

The existing e-token (appointment) system for submission of Indian visa applications has simultaneously been withdrawn after the inauguration of the IVAC here.

Different government high-ups from the two neighbouring countries, Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Harsh Vardhan Shringla and Jamuna Group Chairman Nurul Islam Babul were present during the inaugural ceremony.
