Gauahar Khan ‘gutted’ over Balrampur gang-rape case

In the span of just two days, we have come across two horrifying news of gang rapes in the nation. First, it was a 19-year-old girl, who lost her life after being gang-raped and assaulted in Hathras, and now the news of a Dalit woman’s gang rape has shaken the nation to the core. The 22-year-old succumbed to her injuries after she was gang-raped by two men in the Balrampur district of Uttar Pradesh. Bollywood celebrities like Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Swara Bhasker have expressed their sadness over the same and condemned it.

And TV celebrities have condemned this horrific act too. Bigg Boss 7 winner Gauahar Khan took to her Twitter handle and expressed her anger over the Balrampur case. The actress felt disheartened to see so much of hatred around.

“It is heartbreaking to see so much hatred around. A totally disgusted act. I feel gutted reading about such cruelty. These rapists should be hanged to death. #NoMercyForRapists #Balrampur #JusticeForIndiasDaughters,” she wrote on her Twitter handle.

Reacting strongly to the Balrampur gang rape case, Priyanka Chopra Jonas wrote, “More horrific news from #Balrampur. Each rape is not just another number. There is a family behind it that has to live with the horror forever. There is a family behind it which has to live with the horror forever.”

Meanwhile, as far as Gauahar’s professional front is concerned, the actress is likely to be seen in Bigg Boss 14 alongside Hina Khan, Prince Narula, and Sidharth Shukla.
