DU proctor ‘uninformed’ about attack on students

Dhaka University Proctor AKM Golam Rabbani said he is uninformed about the incidents of the attack on students, who have been demanding the reform of quota system in all public jobs.

He came up with the statement while replying quarries of journalists in front of his office in Dhaka University campus on Tuesday.

The proctor said: “I have not received any former complaint over the attack on quota reformists. Necessary measures will be taken after getting complaint.”

The students of the university cordoned off the office of the proctor around 12:10pm. The students chanted slogan demanding the resignation of proctor after his statement about the attack.
