Bangladesh beat T20 world champion West Indies by 12 runs in the second match of three-match T20 tournament at Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground, Lauderhill, Florida.

Bangladeshi nationals in Florida witnessed an eye-catching victory in the debuting match of tigers in any ground of the USA.

Earlier, Bangladesh set a 144-run target for the world champion West Indies in the second T20I of the three-match series at Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground, Lauderhill, Florida.

Putting into bat first, Bangladesh lost opener Liton Das in the very beginning of the match while another reliable batsman Mushfiqur Rahim gave his wicket scoring only 4 runs off 4 balls.

Tamim Iqbal, the opener of Bangladesh, was lifting the score of Bangladesh adding his initial 74 runs off 44 balls.

Bangladesh T20 Captain Shakib Al Hasan scored 60 runs playing 38 balls while Soumya Sarkar added 14 runs off 18 balls.

Chasing 172-run target of Bangladesh, the batsmen of West Indies wrapped up by 159 runs.

Andre Fletcher and Rovman Powell scored 43 each while Andre Russell returned back to the Pavillion 17 runs off 10 balls for the West Indies.

Skipper Shakib Al Hasan got two, Nuzmul Islam hunted three, and Mustafuzur Rahman removed two wickets.

The series-deciding match of the tournament will be held in Florida tomorrow.
