Alia Bhatt tests COVID-19 positive

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt just took to her social media handle to share that she has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. A couple of weeks ago, boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor had tested positive for the virus and was under home quarantine. Back then, Alia had announced that she had taken the COVID-19 test but tested negative.

Sharing a note on Instagram, Alia wrote, “Hello all,
I have tested positive for Covid-19. I have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I am following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors. Grateful for all your love & support. Please stay safe & take care.”

Alia was snapped earlier this evening along with Ranbir and filmmaker Ayan Mukerji. She opted for a white tee over blue shorts and an oversized pink tote as she stepped into a car with the lead team of Brahmastra.

Around three weeks ago, Neetu Kapoor had taken to her Instagram handle too to share that Ranbir tested positive for the virus. She had written, ” Thank you for your concern and your good wishes Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well . He is in self quarantine at home and following all precautions”
