BNP leader Khandoker Ahad dies of COVID-19

Khandoker Ahad Ahmed, BNP’s Foreign Affairs sub-committee member, has died at a hospital in Dhaka from deadly coronavirus.

BNP Chairperson’s press wing member Shayrul Kabir Khan said the 56-year-old BNP leader had been undergoing treatment at United Hospital where he breathed his last around 12:15am on Sunday.

Khandoker Ahad, also senior vice-president of Gaibandha district unit BNP, left behind his wife, two sons and hosts of relatives and well-wisher to mourn his death.
