Where Moonlight Meets Silence

97

Husna Khan Hashi

——————————-

The moon leans low with a silver sigh,
Unfolding light across the sky.
She dips her face in waters deep,
And wakes the waves from quiet sleep.

A shimmer dances, soft and slow,
Where lilies dream and breezes blow.
No ripple dares disturb the grace
Of moonlight’s kiss on water’s face.

She paints in strokes of pearl and shade,
A trembling path the stars have laid.
Each glint a thought, each wave a word,
In languages the heart has heard.

The silence speaks, the dark reveals
What only stillness truly feels
That beauty’s not in moon or sea,
But in the moment they agree.
