Wahida’s condition critical, surgery at night

The physical condition of Dinajpur’s Ghoraghat UNO Wahida Khanam is critical as she sustained deep head injury.
Prof Kazi Deen Mohammad, Director National Institute of Neuro Sciences & Hospital, informed this at 5pm on Thursday.
“Wahida Khanam’s physical condition is critical. One-and-a-half inches deep injuries has been created on her head as she was hit by hammer. Prof Dr Zahidur Rahman is supervising her treatment at the hospital,” said Prof Deen Mohammad.
He also informed that preparations are being taken to conduct a surgery upon UNO Wahida.
Miscreants stormed the duckbunglow of Dinajpur’s Ghoraghat UNO around 3am breaking the window grills.
After entering the house, the gang hacked and hit UNO Wahida, 35 and her father Omar Ali, leaving them critically injured.
She was then airlifted to Dhaka and admitted to the National Institute of Neuro Sciences & Hospital on Thursday afternoon.
