Urmila Matondkar ready to apologise to Kangana Ranaut; says, ‘I said rudali in a certain context’

Bollywood actresses Kangana Ranaut and Urmila Matondkar have been at loggerheads ever since the latter criticised the Queen actress for statements against Jaya Bachchan and mistreatment in the Hindi film industry. I an interview, Urmila reportedly called Kangana ‘rudali’ which irked the actress. In response to Urmila’s statement, the Queen star called her a ‘soft porn star’.

Now in her defense, Urmila has clarified that she called Kangana ‘rudali’ in a certain context. However, the actress is ready to apologise and has no qualms in saying to Kangana if she found it offensive.

“I said rudali in a certain context, and if at all it was offensive, I have absolutely no qualms in saying I am sorry about it. Maybe not her, maybe the people who support her so dearly. So I am sorry if anything like that has gone out of context. It doesn’t make me small. It was used by me in a context. I have not understood why a person constantly chooses to only play a victim card. You and I can also do that,” she told journalist Barkha Dutt.

The actress further questioned to Kangana as she added when she has had such a long and lovely career in the industry, which has given her so much, why is she trying to say that there was nothing good about it?” For the unversed, in an interview with Times Now, Kangana had said, “She isn’t known for acting for sure and is known for doing soft porn. If she can get a ticket, why won’t I get a ticket.”

Now, it remains to be seen whether Kangana is ready to apologise to Urmila or not. A lot of people have already criticised Kangana for speaking ill about the veteran actress in the public domain.
