Shahid Kapoor celebrates 20 years in Bollywood

Shahid Kapoor has delivered steady hits throughout the two decades of his career, having gone through multiple on-screen personas. From boy-next-door to a rugged fraud, he made his acting debut in 2003 with the film “Ishq Vishk”.

His wife Mira Kapoor has made the occasion into a celebratory affair, arranging a party with their close friends and families. The party had decors with “Celebrating 20 glorious years” written on the wall. Glimpses of the party were caught when she posted about it on her social media, thanking the decorators.

Shahid Kapoor has had years to transition into the persona that he harbours now, starting as a chocolate boy in “Ishq Vishk”,”Fida”,”Dil Maange More”. Eventually he turned to darker and mature personas starting with Aditya in “Jab We Met”, “Kabir Singh” and even taking on the titular character in “Haider” which is in a way, a retelling of Shakespeare’s “Hamlet”.
