Bollywood’s megastar Shah Rukh Khan is all set to grace the silver screen with his upcoming film, Pathan. In the movie, the actor will essay the role of an undercover cop who is trying to take down a drug lord. For SRK fans who have been eagerly waiting for new updates of the movie, Monday turned out to be a blessed day as a few reports revealed an important detail about the movie.

As per reports, SRK is going to film a major action sequence of Pathan in Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, which is the tallest building in the world. The action scene will reportedly feature cars, bike, guns, bombs, and combats. If the filmmakers are able to pull this off, Pathan will become the first Bollywood film to be shot at Burj Khalifa.

A source told Pinkvilla, “Apart from Mission Impossible and Fast and Furious franchise, not many films have been shot inside Burj Khalifa, and Pathan will be among the first few Indian films (probably the first) to have actual visuals of the tower from inside. A big scale action scene centered around Burj Khalifa is in the offing from the team of Pathan. It’s car, bike, guns, blasts, hand to hand combats – get ready for action, that’s sleek and stylish, at international repute in Pathan.”

The source also revealed that an international stunt team will design the prolonged action sequence and that it will be the culmination of Siddharth Anand, Aditya Chopra and Shah Rukh Khan’s vision.
