Shah Rukh Khan starting new project with Rajkumar Hirani

Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan is making a comeback to the big screen after a four-year hiatus with Pathaan, following a disastrous response to Zero. But that is not the only film the Baadshaah of Bollywood will be doing.

As per latest reports, Shah Rukh Khan, who wrapped up the shoot for Atlee’s commercial entertainer, is kick-starting the shoot for Rajkumar Hirani’s immigration drama, today, April 16.

For the unversed, Atlee’s next also stars Nayanthara and Sanya Malhotra in pivotal roles.

As per a report in ETimes that quoted a news portal, Hirani had already started shooting the film on Friday, April 15 with Taapsee Pannu. Shah Rukh dropped in to meet the team in the evening and will be joining the shoot today at a Mumbai studio.

The report also added that the makers have built a set in the likeness of a Punjab village and the cast and crew will reportedly be shooting at the location for the next fortnight.

Hirani will shoot with Taapsee and Shah Rukh in different parts of Mumbai before heading for an outside schedule to London and Budapest. This will be the first time that Shah Rukh Khan and Taapse Pannu will be sharing screen space.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh’s next Pathaan will see him star alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.

Shah Rukh was recently spotted out and about in Mumbai with his two kids in tow. Pictures clicked by the Mumbai paparazzi show Shah Rukh in the driver’s seat with daughter Suhana Khan and son AbRam taking turns to ride shotgun with their dad.
