  • A couple of months back, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan announced that they are expecting the birth of their second child after Taimur
  • Kareena is expected to deliver the baby early next year
  • Saif has now opened up about it saying he feels he is at the right age to bring up kids

While the media and social media are still obsessing over Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s first born, Taimur Ali Khan, back in August they announced the second pregnancy leaving fans frenzied. It has been reported that Kareena is expected to deliver the second baby by early next year.

In a recent interview, Saif Ali Khan, who will become a father for the fourth time or “Quadfather” as his sister Soha Ali Khan would like to call him, opened up about wife Kareena’s second pregnancy.

When asked about how does it feel that soon he will be welcoming a second child into the family with Kareena, Saif stated that it is an amazing feeling and went on to say that he feels it is the best age to bring up kids. He also talked about his desire to wake up in country home (Pataudi Palace) alongside his wife, kids and dogs.

He told Mumbai Mirror,

Amazing, I can’t wait! This is the best age to bring up kids. When you are young, you are more concerned with yourself, your career, but now, when you are more settled, you have lots of time and patience for them apart from love. And for me there’s nothing better than waking up in my country home and spending a Sunday reading in a large bed, surrounded by my wife, kids and dogs.

Saif Ali Khan currently has three kids, two with ex-wife Amrita Singh – Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan, and one with Kareena – Taimur Ali Khan.

On the work front, Saif Ali Khan has had a great year at the box office. January 2020 saw two of his films releasing in theatres and both were successes. While Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior turned out to be a big blockbuster earning close to Rs 280 crore at the domestic box office, as a solo hero, Jawaani Jaaneman too saw a fair run at the ticket window and became his biggest success as a solo hero in the last five years.

Saif will next be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s web series Dilli/Taandav. He will also be seen playing the role of the main antagonist Lankesh aka Raavan in Om Raut’s Adipurush co-starring Prabhas.
