Sahara Khatun’s body reaches Dhaka; janaza at 11am

The body of Awami League Presidium member and of former home minister Advocate Sahara Khatun reached Dhaka from Thailand at early hours of Saturday.

A special flight of US Bangla Airlines, carrying the body, reached Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 1:56am.
Earlier, the flight left Bangkok airport for Dhaka at 9:30pm (Local Time).
The former Minister will be laid to rest at Banani graveyard today after namaj-e-janaza.

AL’s joint general secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim said the janaza will be held around 11am at Banani mosque maintaining the health guidelines.

Sahara Khatun died at Bumrungrad International Hospital in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, early Friday at the age of 77
