Rashami Desai a very happy birthday

Popular TV actress Rashami Desai, fondly known for her role of Tapasya in Uttaran, turns a year older on Sunday (February 13). The small screen diva has ruled millions of hearts with her power-packed performances in several hit shows. Rashami grabbed several eyeballs during her stint in Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 13. The birthday girl had remained in the headlines when she was locked inside the BB 13 house.

Be it her relationship with Arhaan Khan or nasty fights with late Sidharth Shukla, Rashami Desai had hogged all the limelight in Bigg Boss 13. She engaged in heated arguments with Sidharth, with whom she worked in Dil Se Dil Tak. Rashami and Sidharth, who created ripples with their sizzling chemistry in Dil Se Dil Tak, were at loggerheads since the beginning of Bigg Boss 13. The actress even threw tea at Sidharth while having an ugly fight during a Weekend Ka Vaar episode.

While gossip mills suggested that Sidharth and Rashami dated each other during their Dil Se Dil Tak days, the latter had refuted the rumours. The 36-year-old actress, while talking to a portal, squashed the speculations floating on the internet. She had also spoken about her equation with Sidharth Shukla post their stint in Bigg Boss 13.

Rashami Desai had clarified that she was not in a relationship with Sidharth while they worked on their TV show. She also said that the duo had heated arguments in Bigg Boss 13 but they developed a good understanding towards the end of the reality show. The Pari Hoon Main star had further said that they had a contrasting point of view and hence, they would often fight on the sets of their TV show, which aired on Colors channel. In the same interview, she said that Sidharth was a ’10-year-old boy trapped in a big body’.

“As I always say, he is like a 10-year-old boy trapped in a big body. Keeping aside our differences, we were extremely professional; he was cordial and cooperative on the show we had worked on. We just couldn’t stop fighting even after becoming friends during the course of the show (laughs!). Later, when the fights became intense, I decided to end our friendship,” Rashami Desai was quoted as saying by ETimes.

Sidharth Shukla emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss 13 while Rashami finished as the third runner-up of the show.

Sidharth, who became a household name after playing the role of Shiv in Balika Vadhu, passed away on September 2, 2021. He died due to a heart attack. The Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 winner left for his heavenly abode at the age of 40.

Meanwhile, Rashami Desai was recently seen in Bigg Boss 15. She entered the show as a wildcard contestant, finishing at the number sixth position. The Ishq Ka Rang Safed actress was the only wildcard contestant, who became a finalist on the fifteenth season of Bigg Boss.
