Rana Daggubati and Miheeka Bajaj’s wedding planner reveals how he planned the marriage ceremony amid pandemic

Rana Daggubati and Miheeka Bajaj tied the knot amid pandemic on August 8 in a close-knit ceremony. And celebrity wedding planner Ankit Malhotra was the one who planned and organised the extravagant wedding ceremony amid the unlock phase. Malhotra made sure that the close-knit event would match the bride and groom’s expectations while keeping the safety precautions in mind.

In a recent interview with ET Now, the celebrity wedding planner spilled the beans about the whole planning process and shared what challenges he faced during the entire process. Ankit Malhotra shared that the safety precautions for both small and big ceremonies would be the same, since they would have to ensure that everything is properly sanitised, social distancing is maintained and other precautions are in place. Which is why he took utmost care at every step of the way.

While speaking about the challenges that he faced during the planning process, he said that ‘uncertainty’ was a huge hurdle for him as the wedding location kept changing and they had to quickly adapt and plan accordingly.

“The excitement was very controlled,” Ankit said in the interview while sharing that everyone was sitting feet apart. In terms of safety precautions, the planner shared that sanitisation was their top-most priority. And additionally, they did temperature checks of all the guests, sitting arrangements were properly planned and there were masks as well on various counters.

As we all know that only 50 people are allowed in pandemic weddings, the couple only called their family members and close friends to the event. Samantha Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya, who are really close to the Bahubali actor, were invited to the wedding.

“The wedding took around two months of planning and in the end, everything turned out to be perfect for the couple,” the planner said while concluding.
