Rajkummar Rao-Bhumi Pednekar’s film to take an opening of Rs 2.5 to 3 crore

As the cases of COVID-19 is coming down across the country, the filmmakers are releasing their pending biggies. After the third wave of the pandemic, the first major Bollywood release is Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Badhaai Do, which is set to hit the screens this Friday.

Since it is a franchise film, the industry experts and analysts are expecting the dramedy to work wonders at the ticket windows. The trailer has already garnered a positive response from the audience and with no major competition in the Hindi marketing belts, we are hoping that it will garner footfalls in the cinema halls.

Talking about box office prediction of the film exhibitor told Zoom Digital, “Badhaai Do is the sequel to a very successful franchise and it has an actor, which is Rajkummar Rao, who is pretty much, you know the same grade and potential is Ayushmann Khurrana. So, I really hope this with this quirky story and interesting pairing of Bhumi Pednekar and Rajkummar Rao, the movie does well and finds a great audience, specifically in the metro and urban parts of the country.”
