University Grants Commission (UGC) has changed its decision to organize the university admission tests in clusters from this year.

UGC Chairperson Professor Kazi Shahidullah rendered the message on a conference at UGC Auditorium today.

Professor Kazi Shahidullah said: “In the admission tests, there will be a total of four clusters including science and technology, agriculture, engineering and general category. But in common universities, three different admission tests will be held for the departments of science, business and humanities.”

The decision has been revised after a discussion with the vice-chancellors of all the universities, added the Chairperson.

While asked, he told the media that five renowned universities will not go under clustered admission test. However, a total of 34 universities are included in the cluster system
