Ongoing Covid restriction extended till Feb 21

The government has extended the ongoing COVID restriction till February 21 as the coronavirus infection has not come under control across the country.

A gazette notification issued in this regard by the Cabinet Division on Thursday.

The restrictions will remain in force from February 7 February 21 midnight.

The restrictions include: the government has banned gathering of more than 100 people at  indoor and outdoor social, political and religious programmes. Those who will attend the programme must carry COVID vaccination certificates or have to collect RT PCR test report (done within 24 hours before attending the gathering), no in-person classes at educational institutions.
