It’s officially the end for Chris Pratt and Anna Faris who have finalised their divorce. The Hollywood stars had been married for eight years when they separated in August 2017 citing irreconcilable differences, and their divorce was reportedly made official in October. According to The Blast, Chris, 38, and Anna, 41, chose not to set a strict custody agreement for their son Jack and will instead abide by a ‘flexible’ timeshare schedule to accommodate their ever unpredictable work commitments. However, both have agreed to share legal and physical custody of the six-year-old.
It’s also said that Chris and Anna, who filed divorce papers in December 2017, have waived their rights to put a spousal support payment in place. While discussing their divorce settlement, the former spouses reportedly had to agree on issues that were not already included in the prenup they signed before tying the knot in July 2009. Proving how they are on the same page, Chris and Anna will reportedly keep their joint bank account regularly topped up to fund expenses for Jack. Confirming the divorce, a source also told E! News: ‘Chris and Anna are officially divorced.
The judge signed the judgement on 24 October so their relationship status was dissolved as of 24 October. The papers were filed with the courthouse today, 2 November.’
Chris and Anna have one of the most amicable break-ups in Hollywood. The former couple were seen taking Jack trick-or-treating on Halloween last Wednesday and were joined by their respective new partners, Katherine Schwarzenegger and Michael Barrett. In fact, the pair are so comfortable with each other that Chris didn’t feel awkward to kiss his girlfriend Katherine, who was also seen happily chatting to Anna. Isn’t nice when everyone gets along? Anna opened up about her split from the Jurassic World actor in March, and told Dax Shepard: ‘Chris and I did talk about [it]. We got, like on the Twitter feed, yes like “love is dead” and “relationship goals”. ‘I think what we were also guilty of—although we had an unbelievable marriage and we have a great friendship now, we love our son to death, and I’m really proud of that because I’m not sure I did that well the first time [Faris was previously married to Ben Indra from 2004-2008]. ‘But I do think we obviously cultivated something, and it was rewarding for a while. It was like, “Oh, People seem to think we got all this shit all right”.’
