NCB arrests Bharti Singh in drug case

In a shocking turn of events, The Kapil Sharma Show star and one of India’s most known stand-up comedienne Bharti Singh has been arrested by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).

Bharti’s production office as well as her house was raided by NCB recently in the ongoing drug probe and earlier today, the comic artist and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa were summoned by the bureau for questioning.

According to ANI, 86.5 gms of Ganja was recovered from her office and house and later during the questioning both Bharti and her husband Haarsh accepted consumption of Ganja. While Bharti is arrested, Haarsh’s examination is underway.

In a statement to ANI, NCB said, “NCB raided production office & house of comedian Bharti Singh & from both the places 86.5 gms of Ganja was recovered. Both Bharti & her husband Harsh Limbachiya accepted consumption of Ganja. Bharti Singh arrested & examination of Harsh Limbachiya is underway: NCB”
