Murad Hasan at airport to leave for Canada

Dr Murad Hasan, who has lost his cabinet post for his obscene remarks over womenfolk, is leaving the country tonight (Thursday night).
He entered the VIP Lounge of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 9:25pm, said sources at the airport.
It was learnt that he would get on board of Emirates’ Airlines flight which is scheduled to depart for Toronto in Canada at 11:20pm.
Earlier in the day, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said the government would not make any obstruction if former state minister for Information and Broadcast Murad Hasan wants to go abroad. .
He made the remark while responding to queries of journalists at his secretariat office on Thursday.
“It’s his personal decision whether the outgoing state minister Murad Hasan would go abroad or not. The government has nothing to do here,” he said.
On Wednesday, Murad Hasan purchased an air ticket of Canada-bound Emirates Airlines.
Sources at the Ministry of Information said Murad Hasan submitted his red passport (special passport) after his resignation from the post of state minister on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, a written complaint was filed against Murad Hasan with Shahbagh Police Station on Tuesday night for making indecent remarks. A student of Dhaka University filed the complaint under the Digital Security Act (DSA).
Julius Caesar Talukder, former general secretary (GS) of DU’s Salimullah Muslim Hall Chhatra League unit, filed the complaint
on Tuesday.
Besides, Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has identified 387 links of the indecent and dirty remarks of Murad Hasan being circulated on social media.
