Muktijoddha council bill passed

The Jatiya Muktijoddha Council Bill, 2022 was passed in Parliament yesterday for ensuring welfare of the freedom fighters and their families keeping a provision to prepare a list of people of anti-liberation forces.

Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque placed the bill which was passed by voice vote.

As per the bill, there will be a council called Jatiya Muktijoddha Council whose head office will be in Dhaka.

The council would prepare the lists of Razakars, and Al Badar and Al Shams members.
