Madonna’s 40th anniversary celebration tour postponed

Renowned singer Madonna has recently been discharged from the hospital after suffering from a severe bacterial infection. The 64 year old singer had been in intensive care for several days and had to postpone her ‘career-spanning celebration tour’ commemorating her 40th anniversary in the music world.

Taking to his Instagram account, Madonna’s manager, Guy Oseary shared an update on the singer’s health. He shared, “On Saturday, June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection, which led to her several day stay in the ICU. Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected.”
