People are returning home from different corners of the country to share their eid happiness with their families. Public transport stations are over-crowded with the home goers.

They have to toil hard to reach their destination due to long traffic, rain and natural hindrance.

Different bus terminals of the capital — Gabtoli, Technical, Sayedabad, Jatrabari including Kamalapur Railway Station have been spotted overloaded with people waiting for their bus and train. Similarly, people are also waiting in the ferry terminals raising a hope to reach home.

Due to traffic congestion resulting from road construction, people are suffering from a long delay in the highways adjacent to Bangabandhu Bridge. On the other hand, the railway is undergoing scheduled break. People have to wait several hours for the train. The same is the ferry terminals’ scenario.

Highway Police in Hatikumrul has said they are trying their best to neutralize the condition of vehicles on road. Ensuring safety is also one of their concerns.

The total communication of the country has been in a standstill since last night as the eid holidays have begun. No matter what the troubles are there, home goers are rushing to their roots
