KGF: Chapter 2 Hindi box office Day 1: Yash’s film surpasses lifetime collection of KGF

The last two years have been heavy and hard not just for all of us, but for the film industry too. Not only were we forced to sit at home but shooting and post-production of already shot films came to a halt. But now, things are looking up for cine-goers and the film industry. Case in point, Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2. The film released only yesterday but has already been declared a hit by fans as well as a box office success with its advance bookings.

But the first day’s box office collections have finally come in and the second installment of the film is already soaring high. has crossed the lifetime of KGF on Day 1. The film made Rs 44.09 crore, in the Hindi market and is just one day, the film has broken all records with Rs 53.95 crore.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh went on to share the update on Twitter and wrote, “‘KGF2’ CROSSES LIFETIME BIZ OF ‘KGF’ ON *DAY 1*… #KGF Part 1: ₹ 44.09 cr [lifetime biz] #KGF1 ₹ 53.95 cr [Day 1] Kudos to #EXCEL for their vision, backing the first part way back in 2018… Now awaiting #KGF3”
