KGF: Chapter 2 Day 1 prediction:
Trade analyst Girish Johar went on to say, “The advances are humungous and I’m expecting a massive start at the box office. It scares me that the kind of traction the film is having, I hope it matches the expectations of the audience. The traction at the Hindi belt is humungous. Shows for the film are starting at 6 am and post-pandemic, it gives me a lot of vibrancy for this particular film. That’s exactly what happened with Baahubali. The first one did well with Katappa and the trends and I think that what he rub off is, that the trailer has also added to the furor. “

Pushpa: The Rise, RRR and KGF: Chapter 2
With Yash’s film becoming the third Pan-Indian film from Southern cinema to release post-pandemic, Johar is certain that KGF will enjoy a great run, possibly better too. “Pushpa, the makers were a little apprehensive to release the film but it wonders with a strong word of mouth, with RRR we all know, Rajamouli Sir’s film. So KGF, not coming from non-Telugu, non-Tamil market, coming from the Kannada film is just spellbinding. I always peg a film, give it a range depending on feedback on word-on-mouth, I expect the film to open to Rs 35 crore +, which is massive.”
