India is biased towards Khans and Muslim actors: Kangana
GBNEWS24DESK//
Controversial actress Kangana Ranaut has been continuously posting about Shah Rukh Khan’s “Pathaan” on Twitter. The film has become the fastest Hindi film to reach the Rs 200 crore club in four days and the “Queen” actress tried to relate its box office success to India’s bias against ‘Khans and Muslim actresses’.
On Saturday, Kangana Ranaut, who recently returned to Twitter after her account was banned in 2020 for violating the social media platform’s rules, retweeted a post by another user who examined why “Pathaan” was such a box office success.
Kangana responded to the tweet with: “Excellent analysis. This country has always loved all Khans, and at times only Khans and is obsessed with Muslim actresses, so accusing India of hatred and fascism is extremely unfair. There is no country in the world like Bharat.”
The original tweet, to which the actor responded, stated that “Pathaan” was a success because both Hindus and Muslims adore Shah Rukh, and that “boycott tendencies” do not harm Bollywood films, but rather help them. Many users reacted to Kangana’s most recent tweet, claiming that the actor was desperate for attention by tweeting about “Pathaan.”
“So, you’re saying you’re not a citizen of this country?” one user tweeted. To be fair, all you did was attack the Khans for no reason (and others as well) and have always played the religion card by labeling anything and everything Hinduphobic.”
