The government has started a process to collect an additional $1 billion as budgetary support to tackle future emergencies and economic crises due to the Russia-Ukraine war and the Covid-19 pandemic.

It was stated by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina while making replies to a question of Mozaffar Hossain MP from Jamalpur-5 constituency during the PM’s question-answer session in the parliament on Wednesday, report agencies.
