Govt fixes different holidays for industrial areas

The Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishments (DIFE) has fixed different weekly closure days to ensure an uninterrupted power supply in the industrial zones across the country.

DIFE issued a notification in this regard on Thursday.

Under section 114(2) of the Bangladesh Labour Act, 2006, different weekly closing day has been fixed for in public interest, said the notification.
