A fire broke out at Rupnagar slum in the capital’s Mirpur area this morning.

No casualty was reported immediately.

The fire originated around 9:30 am today.

Duty officer of Fire Service Control Room Rasel Shikder confirmed the news.

The reason behind the fire and the extent of the damage could not be known immediately.
