DG of DGHS in home isolation

Prof Dr Abul Kalam Azad, director-general of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) is in home isolation after one of his family members tested positive for COVID-19.

Dr Aminul Hasan, director (hospitals and clinics) of DGHS, confirmed the matter.

He said: “One of Dr Abul Kalam Azad’s family members tested positive for COVID-19 recently. He will also be tested for the virus. Until then, he will remain isolated at home.
