Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh summoned by NCB in drugs case: Report



According to a latest report, Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh have been summoned by Narcotics Control Bureau in the drugs case for which Rhea Chakraborty is in custody.

The reports were doing the rounds that Rhea had named Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor during the interrogation in the drugs case being investigated by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). Recently, Deepika Padukone and Shraddha Kapoor’s names also cropped up during the investigation and it was speculated that the four will be summoned soon.

Yesterday, it was reported that Sara and Shraddha will be summoned by NCB today. However, now Times Now has reported that NCB has summoned not just Sara and Shraddha but also Deepika and Rakul. Rakul Preet Singh will appear before NCB on September 24, Deepika Padukone on September 25 and Sara and Shraddha on September 26.

Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor worked with Sushant Singh Rajput in two of his last films – Kedarnath and Chhichhore. It has been alleged that they consumed drugs with Sushant in his Pawna Lake Farmhouse.



It has also been alleged that Shraddha had a whatsapp chat with Kwan talent manager about drugs. Similarly, Times Now had also accessed chats of a certain D with K about drugs. D was later alleged to be Deepika and K is Karishma, her manager. Reportedly, D asked K in the chats, “Do you have maal?”

Earlier today, film producer Madhu Mantena was summoned by NCB. It was reported that Madhu was allegedly named by Jaya Shah during her interrogation.

Besides them, Dia Mirza’s name was also dragged in the case. She, however, had tweeted and clarified, “I would like to strongly refute and categorically deny this news as being false, baseless and with mala fide intentions. Such frivolous reporting has a direct impact on my reputation being besmirched and is causing damage to my career which I have painstakingly built with years of hard work. I have never procured or consumed any narcotics or contraband substances of any form in my life. I intend to pursue the full extent of legal remedies available to me as a law-abiding citizen of India. Thanks to my supporters for standing by me.”

Previously, Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by NCB in the Bollywood drug probe that is said to be related to the untimely demise of Sushant Singh Rajput. She was taken into custody for 14 days. Yesterd, it was reported that she will stay in custody till October 6.
