Chief justice, other judges meet President at Bangabhaban

A  delegation of Supreme Court (SC) judges led by Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain paid a courtesy call on President M Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban in Dhaka on Friday afternoon.

During the meeting, the CJ briefed the President about the overall activities of the Supreme Court, President’s Press Secretary Md Joynal Abedin told newsmen.

Meanwhile, the CJ invited the President to virtually attend the Supreme Court Day function.

The head of the state expressed satisfaction over the functioning of the Supreme Court.

He thanked the CJ for continuing the judicial activities in a virtual manner during the pandemic.

The President hoped that this effort would continue in days to come.

Secretaries concerned to the President were present on the occasion.
