Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui Day 2 BO collection: Ayushmann Khurrana, Vaani Kapoor film

Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor-starrer Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui showed growth on its first Saturday after an average opening in theatres. Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, the film hit the ticket windows on Friday and is a romantic drama.

For the unversed, the film deals with Manvinder Munjal, a bodybuilder from Chandigarh who falls in a love with a Zumba teacher named Maanvi. Everything works in their favour, till he finds out that Maanvi is actually a transgender woman.

Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui opened in theatres with a collection of ₹3.75 crore. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the business of the film, stating that the film showed 29.87 per cent jump on Day 2, with it doing good business in Mumbai, Pune and Bengalyuru.
