BPL: Chattogram Challengers unveil their jersey

The Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) franchise Chattogram Challengers unveiled their jersey at a a hotel in Gulshan on Monday.

The Chattogram Challengers will be carrying the symbol of golden jubilee of country’s independence on their jersey.
The website of Chattogram Challengers was also inaugurated at the day’s programme, where all the details of the team will be available.

The six-team Bangabandhu BPL begins on Friday (Jan 21) at the Sher-e Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur with Chattogram Challengers taking on Fortune Barishal in the opening match at 2 pm.

Chairman of the Chattogram Challengers Akhterzaman, Managing Director KM Rifatuzzaman, and vice chairman Shaznin Khan were present at the function and handed over the team jersey to head coach Paul Nixon.

Team’s bowling coach Shaun Tait, cricketers Nasum Ahmed, Sabbir Rahman, Shoriful Islam, Mrittunjoy Chowdhury, Will Jacks and Rayad Emrit were also present at the function.
Chattogram Challengers were due to start their official preparation on Monday.

Meanwhile Dhaka franchise team also unveiled its official jersey on Monday. They are expected to start their official practice session on Tuesday.

A total of six teams are taking part in this year’s BPL, named after father of the nation Bangabandhu, which will be played across the country in three venues in Dhaka, Chattogram and Sylhet.
