BCL brings out procession mourning Abrar’s death

Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) members have brought out a mourning procession on Dhaka University (DU) campus protesting the brutal killing of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) student Abrar Fahad.

Hundreds of BCL leaders joined the procession, which paraded different streets on the DU campus this noon.

While addressing the rally, BCL acting president Al-Nahean Khan Joy demanded justice for the murder of Abrar Fahad. “I urged the government to ensure maximum punishment for those involved in the murder of Abrar,” he said.

He called upon the government to take proper action so that no one dares to commit such crimes in educational institutions.

BCL acting general secretary Lekhak Bhattacharjee was also present at the rally.

Abrar Fahad, a second year student of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) Department was beaten to death at Sher-e-Bangla Hall of BUET at the early hours of October 7
