Bangladesh asked to bat first in 1st ODI against South Africa

South Africa captain Temba Bavuma won the toss and asked Bangladesh to bat first in the first ODI at Super Sports Park in Centurion on Friday.
The Tigers fielded the side that won the three-match ODI series against Afghanistan by 2-1 at home recently.
South Africa however won’t get the service of Quinton De Kock who is replaced by Kyle Verreynne.
According to Cricket South Africa statement, De Kock is undergoing a graduated return to play program following a recent illness. His progress is being monitored by the medical team and a decision on his fitness to play will be made before the second Betway ODI.
South Africa chose to field an all pace attack while Bangladesh have number of spinners at their disposal.
Bangladesh however are aiming to win their first match on South Africa soil in which they so far have gone winless in 19 matches across three formats.
