We are writing to you on behalf of Amazon Prime Video to share the news of the exciting new trailer for their latest original series, Mumbai Diaries 26/11 out now, launched at an event held at The Gateway of India.

 

Mumbai Diaries 26/11 is out on Amazon Prime Video on 9th September across 240+ countries and territories.

 

The long anticipated trailer was presented with a tribute to India’s frontline workers and heroes in the presence of the Honourable Minister of Tourism, Environment & Protocol, Government of Maharashtra, Mr. Aaditya Thackeray. The video gives audiences a glimpse of the highly anticipated production by Nikkhil Advani, Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani of Emmay Entertainment prior to next month’s premiere.

 

Mumbai Diaries 26/11 is a fictional edge-of-the-seat medical drama set in the emergency room of a government hospital and depicts the untold story of doctors, nurses, paramedics, and hospital staff who worked tirelessly to save lives during the terror attacks that ravaged the city of Mumbai and stunned the world on November 26th, 2008.

 

The series explores the challenges faced by the staff as well as other first responders across the city. On the one hand the attacks ravaged the city, but on the other it also united its people and strengthened their resolve to stand resolutely against any adversity.

 

Mumbai Diaries 26/11 is directed by Nikkhil Advani (UNPAUSED) along with Nikhil Gonsalves and will feature some of India’s most talented artists, including Konkona Sen Sharma (Liptstick Under My Burkha), Mohit Raina, Tina Desai (The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel), Shreya Dhanwanthary (The Family Man), Satyajeet Dubey, Natasha Bharadwaj, Mrunmayee Deshpande & Prakash Belawadi (Shankuntala Devi).
