The film’s creation was never restricted by time constraints, and its creators gave it plenty of opportunity to expand, prosper, press, and bend. After 14 years of standing the test of time, the film is now ready to serve its intended audience.
In 2008, Atul Kulkarni approached Aamir Khan with a proposal for an Indian remake of Forrest Gump called Laal Singh Chaddha. Following that, Aamir contacted the producers of Forrest Gump to buy the film’s rights, which was a ten-year process.
Post that, the Pandemic struck, causing the film’s release to be postponed. While time tested Aamir, his patience became his primary goal, allowing him to complete the film despite the 14-year delay.
