Quader warns BCL activists of consequences

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader yesterday said Chhatra League activists involved in misdeeds will not be spared and stern action will be taken against them.
He said this while addressing a mourning meeting of late AL leader and lawmaker Moslem Uddin Ahmed at a convention centre in the port city.
“Those who are carrying out misdeeds using the identity of Chhatra League, they are miscreants … They have no rights to be in any organisation of the Awami League,” he said.
Referring to the trials of the Biswajit murder case and Buet student Abrar Fahad murder case, he said, “Sheikh Hasina does not spare any criminals. Were the killers of Bishwajit and Abrar spared because of their Chhatra League identity? No.”
He also urged the young leaders in Chattogram not to involve in misdeeds.
