Petrol, diesel prices hiked

The government has increased petroleum prices, which will be effective from tomorrow (Saturday).

At the consumer level, the retail prices of diesel and kerosene will be Tk 114 per litre, octane Tk 135 per litre, and petrol Tk130 per litre.

Power, energy and mineral Resources ministry issued a notification in this regard on Friday night.

Currently, the prices of diesel and kerosene are Tk 80 per litre, which was Tk 65 in October.
