DNCRP launches YouTube channel

Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) has launched its official YouTube channel ‘Vokta odhikar-DNCRP’.

AHM Shafiquzzaman, director general of the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection, formally inaugurated the YouTube channel on Thursday morning.

About the inauguration of the channel, Shafiquzzaman said various activities on consumers’ rights will be promoted through this YouTube channel in a bid to increase public awareness. Besides, all operations conducted by DNCRP across the country will be available on this channel, he said.

Facebook and YouTube are vital social platforms to reach all the people of the country, said director general of the DNCRP adding that they have taken various steps to make consumers aware of their rights.

“We want to give importance to the social media to include the direct engagement of common people. In addition to this YouTube channel, we also have a website through which a consumer can connect with us.”
