Nach Punjaban singer Abrar Ul Haq alleges Karan Johar’s Jug Jugg Jeeyo of plagiarism, T-Series issues statement

The makers of Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani’s upcoming movie Jug Jugg Jeeyo dropped the trailer of their film yesterday. The movie which is set to hit the theatres on June 24, 2022, got embroiled in a controversy even before its release. Pakistani singer Abrar Ul Haq who crooned the song Nach Punjaban, has alleged the makers of Jug Jugg Jeeyo of plagiarism.
Abrar Ul Haq took to his social media and shared a tweet that read, “I have not sold my song “Nach Punjaban” to any Indian movie and reserve the rights to go to court to claim damages. Producers like @karanjohar should not use copy songs. This is my 6th song being copied which will not be allowed at all. @DharmaMovies @karanjohar.”
