KGF: Chapter 2 benchmarks: Here are all records Yash starrer broke in 12 days

KGF: Chapter 2 is a box office success would be an understatement. The Prashanth Neel directorial, starring Yash and Srinidhi Shetty in the lead roles, released on April 14 and quickly took the box office by storm. The film has been consecutively performing well at ticket windows, even in its third week, smashing one record after the other.

KGF: Chapter 2 had made various box office history across markets becoming the highest ever Day-1 collection for a Hindi film, grossing 63.66 crores, the highest ever opening in Karnataka for a Kannada film and the highest ever Day 1 collection in Kerala for any Indian film.

The film was recently declared all time blockbuster at the box office as well.

Here’s looking at the Benchmarks achieved by KGF: Chapter 2 –

• Day 1: The film earned Rs 100 crore on the dayof its release, overtaking the lifetime business of its prequel.
• Day 2: On it’s second day, the Yash starrer managed to cross Rs 100 crore.
• Day 4: Rs 150 crore
• Day 5: Rs 200 crore
• Day 7: It became the fastest film to enter the Rs 250 crore club. The Yash and Srinidhi Shetty starrer managed the feat in a week.
• Day 11: In less than two weeks, the Prashanth Neel directorial entered the Rs 300 crore club, which is a huge achievement.
• Day 12: Rs 325 crore

The film cumulatively earned rs 268.63 crore in its first week and Rs 80.18 crore in its second week, bringing its earnings to Rs 348.81 crore in two weeks.
