The lovebirds tied the knot on the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi with just their families in attendance. The couple shattered all stereotypes with their ivory-themed wedding. The lovebirds donned ivory and gold Sabyasachi creations and it was beyond perfect. Alia went on to share the dreamiest images from the ceremony and also shared a statement for her fans and well-wishers.

Alia’s elder sister Shaheen Bhatt just took to the gram to share two more unseen images from the ceremony and it’s as dreamy as these cuties. The first image sees the two look so beautiful while the second image captures a candid moment of love between the bride and groom.

Sharing the images, Shaheen wrote, “Plot twist My two favourite people in the world got married yesterday and our weird, happy little tribe just got a whole lot weirder and happier. I love you both so much.”

Alia broke every traditional stereotype with her bridal ensemble. Alia looked gorgeous in an ivory saree and customised blouse by the celebrated designer. She teamed this with polki necklace and a hairband style mathapatti that she teamed with jhumkas. For her makeup, Alia kept her look simple and minimal.
