DNCRP, Ctg hold seminar on protection of consumers’ rights

A seminar on protection of consumers’ rights was held at deputy commissioner’s office in Chattogram on Thursday.

The district administration and Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) jointly organized the seminar in association with Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN).

DNCRP director general Bablu Kumar Saha was present as the chief guest in the seminar with deputy commissioner Mohammad Mominur Rahman in the chair.

The programme was attended, among others, by GAIN representative Ashek Mahfuz, additional deputy commissioner, civil surgeon, public representatives, officials of Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC), Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI), Bangladesh Food Safety Authority (BFSA), and business leaders.
